HSP Meets With The Minister For Livestock To Advance BRM Activities In Pakistan

Specifically, discussions with the Minister for Livestock, Sardar Hasnain Bahadur Dreshak focused on advancing a partnership agreement with the provincial government of Punjab and extending biorisk management (BRM) activities to the province. On April 15, Dr. Khan and Dr. Ali briefed the Minister on HSP’s global programs and dove deeper into current and future work in Pakistan’s Punjab province. The Minister took a keen interest in HSP’s programs and assured his support moving forward.

The Minister has requested the Director of Laboratories and the Director of Communication to assist with signing a Memorandum of Understanding with other ministry officials and ABM to speed up the process of verifying the work. Stay tuned for more information on this exciting new project!
