Biosecurity for Laboratories Working with Toxins: A Train-the-Trainer Program

Health Security Partners, in collaboration with the U.S. State Department's Biosecurity Engagement Program (BEP) and the Federation of Asian Biotech Associations (FABA), hosted a three-day workshop entitled “Biosecurity for Laboratories Working with Toxins: A Train-the-Trainer Program,” on July 29-31, 2024, in Hyderabad, India. The training brought together 20 researchers that work with plant toxins and their source materials to practice the implementation of biosecurity best practices through scenario-based exercises. Researchers also participated in teach back sessions to demonstrate the skills that they have honed throughout this training and the previous workshop held in February 2024.
