HSP and partners at the Nigerian Biotechnology Development Agency (NABDA)

On 16 January 2023, HSP and partners at the Nigerian Biotechnology Development Agency (NABDA) kicked off the first of a three-day biosecurity workshop for researchers working with Castor and it’s toxic byproduct, Ricin in Lagos, Nigeria. They are also joined by members of the Office of National Security Advisor to establish a network between researchers and law enforcement officers to increase communication and collaboration for both preventing and responding to laboratory incidents. HSP and partners are looking forward to continuing the workshop throughout the week. Stay tuned for more to come!
