HSP Congratulates the Recipients of the 2022-2024 Field Epidemiology Training Program (FETP)-Indonesia Scholarship!
HSP, with support from U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, is proud to award five scholarships for the 2022-2024 Field Epidemiology Training Program (FETP) in Indonesia. Under the coordination of the FETP Secretariat, the FETP is integrated into the curricula of collaborative Indonesian universities and field training is implemented at district and provincial health offices. This year’s awardees will attend the graduate programs at Universitas Airlangga, Surabaya, East Java and Hasanuddin University (UNHAS), Makassar, South Sulawesi. In keeping with the scholarship's goal to increase the number of graduates in provinces currently underrepresented in the FETP, the awardees are civil servants in the Ministry of Health, Province and District Health Offices, Public Health Centers, and Hospitals in East Nusa Tenggara and West Papua. Graduates of the FETP play a critical role in addressing the burden of communicable and noncommunicable diseases through their “boots on the ground” disease surveillance and response field training.
Congratulations to our 2022-2024 scholarship recipients!
