HSP, DST-CPR and Carnegie India Host Two-Day Workshop Focusing on Cybersecurity
On September 6-7, Health Security Partners (HSP), the DST-Centre for Policy Research (DST-CPR) at the Indian Institute of Science, and Carnegie India jointly hosted a two-day workshop focusing on cyberbiosecurity concepts for life sciences research institutions across India. During the COVID-19 pandemic, many life sciences research institutions were victims of cyber-attacks due to their valuable health data and research. This workshop raised awareness of the cybersecurity threats affecting secure life science research institutions and equipped participants with the tools and best practices to counter these evolving threats effectively. The foundational topics discussed in this training provided the baseline knowledge needed for the follow-on Cyber-Hygiene train-the-trainers workshop to be conducted in January 2023.
