HSP Hosts Professional Development Training for Partners at the Association for Biorisk Management, Pakistan

Health Security Partners (HSP) in collaboration with Association for Biorisk Management (ABM) held a 2- day capacity building Technical Report Writing training delivered by Ms. Tabinda Azhar, Senior Advisor of Health Communications (WHO Somalia) on 21-22 February, 2023. The training successfully culminated with 15 participants from different backgrounds such as veterinary, finance, and human resource sectors. The participants were given the opportunity to comprehend the basic principles of technical report writing. Ms. Azhar delivered the training sessions via MS Power Point, writing and brainstorming exercises, and group presentations. The participants were given the chance to have interactive dialogue on planning, designing, and presenting the report for producing better reports in future. Ms. Azhar also explained in detail the types and the format of the technical report writing. The training ended with participant presentations with feedback from Ms. Azhar on each paragraph and section to explain the strengths gaps. The training ended with brainstorming and in-depth discussion on how to best synthesize ABM's activities through effective reports that accurately document and share their strong activities to improve public health capacity in Pakistan.
