Southern Africa Public Health Emergency Preparedness, Response and Recovery (PHEPRR) Fellowship
What an extraordinary week in Johannesburg, South Africa! Fellows, mentors, facilitators, and partners from 8 countries came together for the in-person training week of the Southern Africa Public Health Emergency Preparedness, Response and Recovery (PHEPRR) Fellowship (March 22–27, 2026).
Mozambique. Zambia. Zimbabwe. Eswatini. Malawi. South Africa. Botswana. Namibia.
Fifteen mid-career public health professionals joined forces with mentors, ICAP at Columbia University, US CDC, and Health Security Partners to sharpen their skills in emergency preparedness, response, and recovery; because when a crisis hits, our programs need to be ready.
This is what regional solidarity in public health looks like. See you in September!
