A Secure Future for Indonesia’s Biotechnology Sector

Health Security Partners and Konsorsium Bioteknologi Indonesia (KBI) recently convened a two-day workshop for Indonesian biotechnology companies focused on research security, Know-Your-Collaborator due diligence, information security, and cyberbiosecurity. Through expert presentations and practical case studies, participants explored how to protect sensitive research, data, and intellectual property while maintaining productive scientific and commercial collaborations. Engaged discussions addressed emerging challenges such as internet-connected laboratory equipment, AI-related data leakage, partner risk, and effective cyber incident response.
