Rise In Measles Cases

The WHO reports boom in measles cases globally: In 2023, global measles cases soared to 10.3 million—a 20% increase from the previous year. 

Alarmingly, 22 million children missed their first vaccine dose, and only 74% received the second dose, falling short of the 95% coverage needed to prevent outbreaks.

Tragically, over 107,500 lives were lost, predominantly among children under five.

Vaccination is crucial. Let's strengthen immunization efforts to protect our children and communities.
