CBRNE Medical First Responder Volunteer Surge Capacity Force Training Workshop

On November 8-9, 2024, HSP hosted the first of a series of CBRNE Medical First Responder Volunteer Surge Capacity Force Training Workshops for a cohort of newly graduated doctors, nurses, and other medical first responders from Duhok. The training, hosted by the University of Kurdistan Hewlêr – School of Medicine, focused on providing civilian volunteers with baseline CBRNE awareness training as well as operational-level training for basic life support and first aid. The Volunteer Force Trainings will continue through the coming months for additional volunteers from across the Kurdistan Region.
