Phase Two of HSP/BRAP2015’s Biosecurity Risk Assessment and Mitigation Training
Health Security Partners and the BioRisk Association of the Philippines (BRAP2015) are pleased to announce the completion of Phase Two of the three-phased training on biosecurity risk assessment and mitigation. Participants from Philippines laboratories gathered in-person in Cebu from November 3-5, 2022. During the training, participants were led by trainers to engage in a sequence of interactive, breakout group discussions designed to identify specific biosecurity risks, mitigation and vulnerabilities. This training simulated conducting laboratory biosecurity risk assessments, incident responses, and implementing improved mitigation practices at their institutions. HSP is looking forward to continuing these critical discussions and launching Phase Three of the training program with the team at BRAP2015 and all the dedicated participants.
